Dr. Gabor Kovacs, M.D. F.A.C.S.
Gabor Kovacs, M.D., F.A.C.S., attended Queens College in Flushing, NY, where he earned his bachelor of arts. He went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine at the Catholic University of Louvain in Belgium.
Dr. Kovacs completed his general surgical residency at the Brookdale Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, where he went on to become Chief Resident, followed by his fellowship in thoracic and cardiovascular surgery at Nassau Hospital in Mineola, NY. He also served as a Major in the U.S. Army Medical Corp, where he served in Honduras and received Airborne Wings.
Dr. Kovacs has more than 20 years of vascular and vein-related experience and is fellowship trained and board-certified by the American College of Surgeons in general surgery. His specialties include vascular and general surgery.
He is a member of the New Jersey Vascular Society, as well as the Georgia Physicians Association. Dr. Kovacs is multilingual and can speak English, French, Hungarian and Hebrew.
